The N Word.

The Scarlet Letter.

           Dial N: for Nigga.

         The N word was originally a racial slur/moniker used to degrade the supposedly  “second class” citizen, who occupy the majority of the workforce during the 246 years of captivity. 

         The label uttered from the lips from our oppressors, might as well, have been a hex-curse placed on the head of every cotton picker, the house maidens, the railroad builders; the harvesting of agriculture: coffee, tobacco, sugar cane and the carpenters and the weavers. In a way, it has–our scarlet letter.

           And the result of this curse: lifetime of degradation, subject both intentional and persecutional-eugenics; often resulting in labeling us to as “subhuman” or quote “a generation away from swinging from jungle vines”. Ostracized at every turn unless it’s to massa convenience. Our entire history completely white washed and our sense of self-identity: colonized and integrated to the oppressors standards.  

          People seen treated as property; The N word was the slave’s dog collar forever staining a peoples as hired help, field hands, porch monkeys and saddle riders (no pun intended). slave owners actually placed collars made of steel and Iron for slaves that previously ran away.

           And just like that…after four of the bloodiest years in U.S. history, the Emancipation Proclamation followed by the 13th Amendment: the slaves were free(metaphorically).

          1863. 4 millions slaves, now, free men(or so we were lead to believe), however, the 13th Amendment only states: “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.” In short, the 13th Amendment only protects non-criminals and that’s when the shifting of the current begins to unfold.

     Let’s not be naive, slavery has and always will be the number one business in America. To say otherwise, is an admission of guilt.

        Liberty versus freedom. Liberty- the ability to do as one wills and what one has the power to do; in the presence of arbitrary restraint. Freedom- the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. The words seem similar at first glance, however, the former is confined by an external forces.

            Now, I know what your thinking: there are some wealthy black people in the U.S. but don’t over look the fact that vast majority of rich African American have to walk on egg-shells; placating their caucasian benefactor. They have their role when it comes to navigating the attention of the black community; whether it’s: entertainment, misdirection, or pushing the agenda of our corporate masters, or worse–bankers.

         Where did the slave ship go? Why…it’s on land, now, population over 2,3 million.

         Remember the 13th Amendment, And how it’s protection only applies to anyone who is not considered a criminal? Meanwhile, the 14th Amendment ensures that neither State nor Government deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. Meaning, a U.S. citizen has right to own his own property, has a right to a far trial; has an right not to be persecuted by both domestic and militarized authority. Unless they are a criminal.  

          Welcome to mass incarceration. 1 in 4 people in the United States will be incarcerated at some point in their life, almost 25% of incarcerations when compared to other countries across the globe, come from America. The supposedly “land of the free” has the highest percent of the population behind bars–in the world.

And, did I forget to mention that 40% of those people are African Americans? 4 out 10 African American will be in some form of corrections by the time they reach the age of 40.

But why is that?

History. Remember the limitations of the 13th Amendment; If you are seen, convicted or perceive as a criminal the Amendment can not protect you and the “abolishing of a slavery”: null in void. Even with the 14th Amendment backing up due process, from 1865-1964 under disguise of selective racism if your black, you can be arrested, for so much, as loitering.

It didn’t matter. 4 million black people whom once were the driving force of agriculture, farming, transportation and free undocumented labor; were now free to do as they please. The transition from centuries of free disposable labor to potentially employing newly freed-slaves, did not sit well with Americas. But ultimately, they needed to resolve the issue, somehow, as business owners, farmers, even political figures made it abundantly clear: black people are not real Americans. I’ll even go a step further and say: black aren’t even human beings.

No different then Nazis Germany, Hitler ran a smear campaign, in order to, slander the image of the Jews, before a single concentration camp was ever built. Our image has and will always be off-center from the truth.

Daytime television labels us and dead-beat fathers; over-bearing and materialistic mothers; troubled youth with ties to gang activity; thieves, professional criminals; lazy, untrustworthy.

Newspapers push out endless articles, depicting black people as barbaric–animalistic and uncivilized. Propaganda at its best. But what can you expect, racial tolerance has always been the grey area in the justice system–implied, rarely followed up with any hard action. As you watch this Youtube video, I want you to remember, as much as you can, all the preconceive notions and stereotypes surrounding black people. Don’t get me wrong; not every white person is a racist and not every black man is a rapist. Even-though, on more than one occasion, we tend to feed into the self-fulfilling prophecy. That should be evidence that brainwash on this scale works on the oppressors and it’s victim.
